How We Help
We Care has been helping people in need of medical care since 1991. Patients can qualify for free specialty medical services through the We Care Program if they meet specific criteria.
While vital services are provided by our dedicated partner physicians and other healthcare professionals each year, medical needs beyond physician services remain nonexistent, for which funding has been nonexistent.
The We Care Foundation of Indian River was formed and began raising funds in 2013 to help meet these needs. With your support, more non-physician services can be provided, and the We Care Mission will be advanced.
We Care has been helping people in need of medical care since 1991. Over the past few years, the number of referrals our clinic has received has grown by 10%, meeting the needs of over 600 unduplicated individuals annually.
With your support and donations, the We Care Foundation of Indian River can expand the scope of non-physician services to We Care patients and advance the We Care mission. Some examples of what your donation may help purchase include:
- Cataract Lenses
- Wound Care and Orthopedic Supplies
- CPAP Machines
- Transportation to and from clinic or physician appointments
- Short-term Prescription Assistance
