“We Care” Diamonds Drawing to Highlight Indian River Medical Society Foundation Fundraiser
Vero Beach, FL – If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then here’s your chance to make a major new BFF when you enter the “We Care” Diamonds: A Game of Chance Drawing taking place at the Indian River County Medical Society Mardi Gras Celebration Fundraiser on March 2, 2015.
A $250 donation will guarantee your entry to win exquisite 1.81 carat total weight diamond solitaire earrings set in white gold and valued at $15,000. The diamonds have GIA Certificates, were hand selected in Antwerp, Belgium, and are being donated by John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry in Vero Beach.
Long-time supporters of many charitable causes in Indian River County, John Michael and Carla Matthews decided to partner this year with the IRCMS Foundation because they believe in its goals.
“For more than two decades, local physicians have been volunteering their services and providing free health care to patients through the “We Care” program. We are especially excited to be a part of this year’s fund-raising efforts in order to renovate part of the Gifford Health Center into a dedicated clinic space, to provide a home for “We Care,” the Matthews said.
The Matthews also are very excited about the diamonds. “They are spectacular,” they said, adding that each diamond has “exceptional brilliance, sparkle and fire, and they are perfectly matched in color and clarity.”
The diamond earrings can be viewed now and until the time of the drawing at John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry, located at 645 Beachland Blvd., Vero Beach, where you also can enter to win the earrings.
The drawing is limited to the first 300 entries, and you need not be present at the March 2nd Mardi Gras Celebration to win. Taking place from 6-10 p.m. at the Moorings in Vero Beach, tickets for the event are $200 each and are now on sale at www.WeCareofIRC.org.

About the IRCMS Foundation
The Indian River County Medical Society Foundation, founded in 2013, provides funding for non-physician healthcare services to medically indigent residents of Indian River County who are served through the “We Care” Program. Each year, 120+ volunteer physicians provide vital medical services valued at more than $1 million for “We Care” patients; however, there remain medical needs beyond physician care currently not funded. This is where the Foundation can make a significant difference to provide those items such as cataract lenses, breast implants for reconstructive surgery, short-term prescription coverage and more. The Foundation is also raising funds to construct a dedicated We Care Clinic to better serve We Care patients. The clinic will include multiple patient exam rooms, waiting room and administrative area. For more information, visit www.WeCareofIRC.org
